How we can help you find quality plants
It can often be hard knowing what to plant and where. It can then be even harder trying to find the right plant.
How our plant design, sourcing, supply and setting out service works
Our service is very simple and straight forward. You can contact us by phone to discuss what you are looking for or you can email us a list of your requirements and we'll call you. If you are unsure of exact plant names, tree sizes or specifications, don't worry, we can advise you what will work best. Once we have established whats required, we will source the right plants and provide you with a clear and concise quotation to supply them. We then take payment and arrange for everything to be delivered to your door.
The service is very flexible. If you need a stylish planting design for a new border, thats fine. If you would like us to find you a matching pair of mature buxus pyramids for your porch, thats fine too. Whatever your requirements, we can usually help and we always try to offer sensible, practical advice.
Plants Design
We can design all aspects of planting for private gardens and commercial spaces. We can produce detailed planting plans for a full garden or a single border. We can produce planting designs for almost any space imaginable; dry shade, full sun, clay, sandy and chalk soils, exposed gardens, colour themed, swathe planting, naturalistic and prarie style planting, formal schemes with topiary, buxus hedges and knot gardens. We can also advise on planting trees for small gardens and mature trees for open landscapes. We can design interesting formal and native hedges, including pleached or stilted hedges, shaped formal hedges, cloud forms, bamboo screens and more.
Plants Sourcing
Over the past 20 years we have established long standing relationships with UK and European growers and nurseries specialising in just about everything you can grow. We have had to do this, in order to provide the exact plant varieties, sizes and quantities for clients we have designed private gardens for, show garden projects and commercial planting schemes. This knowledge of designing with plants and having to source exactly whats required enables us to provide this service.
Plants Supply
The logistics of getting the plants to your door. In most cases, this is quite straight forward. Alot depends on exactly what is being ordered and where it is going and where it comes from. Sometimes larger items are shipped direct, in other instances we might compile an order over several weeks and despatch it all togther. For the larger specimens and trees it is important to make sure you are ready to receive them, as machinery and lifting gear are often required. We can liase with your contractors to organise delivery at the right time. For all orders, we make sure that delivery is well organised, plants are handled carefully and we keep clients informed of what is happening.
Plants Setting Out
Finally, the last part of the service involves us coming out to your garden to actually set out the plants correctly in accordance with the planting plan. It's then all ready for your landscape contractor to put the plants in the ground. We can also be on site to supervise the planting of large trees and specimen plants, to check positions, tree pits, plant feeds and to monitor the planting out.
